Practice Policy

Our Practice aims to provide Dental care of a consistent quality for all patients. We have Management systems to help us and which define each Practice member's responsibilities when looking after you.

In proposing treatment we will take account of your own wishes. We will explain options, where appropriate, and costs, so that you can make an informed choice. We will endeavour to explain what we are doing where possible.

We will do all we can to look after your general health. We will ask you to complete a Medical History Questionnaire which will allow us to treat you safely and appropriately. This information will be strictly confidential.

Cross Contamination Control is essential to the safety of all our patients. Every Staff member receives training on a regular basis and any new guidelines are put in place as soon as we are informed.

We screen ALL adult patients for mouth cancer at their routine check ups. We ask patients about tobacco and alcohol use because they increase your oral cancer risk.

Practice meeting are held regularly in order to discuss working practices and iron out problems. Staff are encouraged to make suggestions on how we can improve care for our patients.

Patients have the opportunity to view their opinions about any area of our services that we offer. We will deal promptly and sympathetically will any complaint and strive to correct problems quickly.

All Dentists at this Practice take part in continuing professional education, meeting the General Dental Council's requirements. Our aim is to keep up to date with current thinking an all aspects of general Dentistry, including preventive care which reduces your need for treatment.

All staff joining our Practice are given thorough training in our procedures. This training is up dated regularly. All members of Staff have undergone First Aid Training & CPR procedures and hold current Certification.

All staff will observe total confidentiality of all information relating to Patients registered with this practice.
